EVERYDAY SUMMER SESSIONS DATES

Classes run 10 am – 5:00pm

Everyday Classes/ SUMMER SESSION
Everyday classes run Monday - Friday for one week per session 10 AM - 5 PM.
These 30 – minute classes are designed to give rapid results. They are offered in summer months for all levels of competence.
Ratio 4:1 max. There are no make up days allowed per session.

SUMMER 5 WEEK PROGRAM
Classes run @ 2 PM OR 5 PM - 8PM
Times are for 1 x a week 30 minute classes

3 years and above

Classes during summer months at this time can attend once or twice a week. The session is paid each month based on number of days in the month.

6 months up to 36 months

Keiki Opae / water baby classes. These are offered in the mornings Tuesday and Thursday before 10:00 am. There are also evening classes that start at 5:00 pm, and later Tuesday through Friday.

Saturday classes occur October through May. There are no Saturday classes, June, July, August, and September.

Monthly Classes
These 30-minute classes are offered @ 2pm
and from 6pm – 8pm.

SOT offers two different lesson tuition plans:
“Basic” Plan: Customers choosing the “Basic” plan will pay a set monthly fee, based on the number of days a student swims each week. Make up classes will not be available for lessons missed due to illness, vacations, etc.

*Attention adult students: if we cannot place you with a partner, the class is considered semi-private at $36.00 price.

PRICING
Signing up for classes? Here is a price break down for our most popular class packages. Once a week classes fit nicely into most family schedules, more frequent lessons are available and can be viewed by clicking the links below.

PAYMENTS
SUMMER WEEK BLITZ
All payments must be paid for at the time of scheduling. During summer sessions you must sign up for each 1-week everyday session.

MONTHLY

• Monthly-based group lessons (1 / 2 / 3 days a week) the tuition must be pre-paid by the 23rd of the preceding month in order to keep your child’s spot for the next month (ie: February payment must be received by January 23rd).
• Students not paid for will be dropped from class
• Any cancellation made within 72 hours of the beginning of a session of after the session has begun is subject to a $20.00 cancellation fee per student.

Registering for Classes
30-minute classes are offered one time a week, year round, 10 AM - 8 PM. Registration occurs during the first two weeks of every month. Students registering late will be scheduled the next month. The Swim of Things reserves the right to cancel class due to insufficient registration. Must keep assigned swim class level until end of the month or teachers discretion.

Basic Plan
Summer Straight Week Blitz:

• We will pro-rate pre-arranged scheduled absence during the registration process each month.

Keiki Opae (water babies)
Basic Plan
Parents interested in Keiki Opae classes must first take a 3 month session first before purchasing in 1 month sessions.

Sibling Discount
The second sibling receives 5% off. The third sibling receives 10% off. This applies to any class level.

MAKE-UP POLICY
Make-up, classes must have cancelled in advance – not just missed. Make up classes can be scheduled only during the month missed. A charge of $8.00 will be assessed.

• There will be no make-ups given for legal holidays. SOT holidays taken are:
  New Years Day, Good Friday and Easter Weekend, Memorial day, July 4th Week, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Break.

REFUND POLICY
WE HAVE A NO REFUND POLICY. In lieu of refunds, classes may be credited to a later session if extreme illness or injury prevents lessons from being taken at the scheduled time. Instructors are booked and paid according to what you schedule; therefore, refunds cannot be given.

SWIM GIFT CARDS
We have Gift cards available for classes or gift giving. Using the card keeps track of the amount of times that you have taken lessons. Keep track with updates in the office and re-load the card for as many sessions that work with your schedule. The gift cards under $100.00 expire monthly. Any Gift Card over $100.00 is good for 1 year from purchase date, and can be refilled $100.00 dollars at a time.

CHECK-IN SYSTEM
Each student must be checked in prior to entering the pool for class. Tell the person in the office the name of the child and let your presence be known. Please have children use the restroom, discard chewing gum, and remove band-aids before entering the water.

INSTRUCTOR COMMUNICATION
Since our lessons run consecutively there may not always be time before or after your child’s lesson to speak directly with the instructor. Therefore, we have created a Swimming Line form, which allows you to communicate easily with your child’s instructor. Fill it our and leave it in the office. We’ll make sure your child’s instructor gets it.

AWARD SYSTEM
All students enrolled in an everyday session (one week) will receive the appropriate evaluations at the end of the session. Students enrolled in monthly lessons will receive progress reports on a monthly basis and level certificates as they are earned. After class students receive treats for good participation, once a week classes receive treat every visit, everyday session receives treats on Friday. Visit the office for a more detailed handout on our class levels and award system. Please contact the office for schedule changes following a promotion.
