Instructors

Anna Paliwoda

Owner Anna Paliwoda was born in Hawaii and graduated from John Carroll in 1969. She then joined the Middleburgh Heights, YWCA location as health and recreation director for 12 years. During that time she co-coached Berea mid-park swim club for six years and taught swimming lessons in her backyard for five years.

1988 was the year Anna began The Swim of Things swim school. Anna is currently WSI certified and enjoys reading her swimmers skills while challenging them to their ability. Nurturing novice beginner shrimps and developing self reliant swimmers is her passion.

Albert is the son of Anna Paliwoda. He has grown up around water and has a BA in public communications from KSU and is currently certified WSI, CPO and LGI.
